"I started seeing Carolyn after a few months of trying to conceive with no luck, at the same time that my husband and I started testing for fertility issues. We ultimately determined that we had a severe male factor infertility issue, however, I kept seeing Carolyn once a week throughout the whole process. Working with Carolyn helped me stay calm and focused and, I believe, primed my mind and body to respond well to my first IVF cycle. My husband needed surgery to retrieve sperm, which we did in conjunction with the IVF cycle. Because of the specialized nature of the surgery, we did the cycle in New York. I worked with Carolyn up until I left for New York, was treated with acupuncture while in New York and continued with Carolyn upon my return, once a week through my first trimester.
